Happy Hoops Basketball (Grades K-2): This class is designed to help players of all ages and abilities improve their game, become better team players, develop leadership skills and have fun! Students will work on ball handling, defense skills, and shooting form, through a variety of activities and competitions.
Booking and Cooking (Grades K-2): Who doesn't love a great story and the chance to enjoy some food to go along with it? Participants will read stories and prepare foods together. Chefs will also create a recipe book to take home. ALLERGY ALERT: NUTS AND DAIRY MAY BE USED IN THIS CLASS!
Lego-mania (Grades K-2): An exciting class designed for students to have the opportunity to design and create Lego structures along with Lego vehicles. This class will also incorporate the use of other materials to make inventive and outrageous products. Come be creative!
Phy. Ed. Favorites (Grades K-2): Mrs. Bethke will lead this class, while students participate in some of the favorite Phy Ed games from the school year! Join this class for Knock Down, Pin Down, Jewel Thieves, and Sideline Soccer. So much fun and full of fitness!
Come Camping with Mrs. Shong! (Grades K-2): We will explore what you will need to go camping, what adventures you can have, tell stories around the campfire, and see what we can learn from the night sky. I can't wait to have you join me at Camp Shong!
Cardboard Construction (Grades K-5): In this class, participants will have the chance to learn steps in model construction and following a process. Students will be using a variety of tools that can be used to construct buildings out of cardboard. This class is limited to the first 12 students to register.
Card Sharks (Grades 3-5): Improve your card skills during this class! Learn to play exciting and fun games like Speed, Garbage, King’s Corners and many more!
Canvas Painting (Grades 3-5): In this class, students will learn what it takes to make beautiful canvas paintings. We will work together, step by step, to make paintings for you to keep forever or give as a gift to someone you love! You will be sure to treasure each painting you create in this class. Artists will be learning techniques and tricks to make their masterpieces turn out great!
World Adventures (Grades 3-5): Get ready to stamp your passport! In World Adventures, you'll learn about a new country each day! Students will have the opportunity to experience different cultures through art, music, and food. Pack your bags and be ready for expeditions as we explore places around the world!
The Great Outdoors (Grades 3-5): Living in the beautiful state of Wisconsin, you are aware of how great the outdoors are in our area. In this class we will look at all the activities nature has to offer us by primarily being outdoors. Students will learn about basic hiking skills, basic identification of plants and animals, bike safety, participate in nature games, and other outdoor activities. Students will need to wear tennis shoes and be prepared for the weather conditions of the day.
Board Games Galore (Grades 3-5): Students will explore a variety of classic and modern board games, fostering strategic thinking, problem-solving, and social skills. From friendly competitions to cooperative challenges, this class promises a summer of fun, laughter, and the joy of tabletop gaming for all participants.
GeoCaching (Grades 3-5): Do you like to hunt for treasure? This class will do just that! Students will be exploring different local areas to search for hidden GeoCaches. They will learn how to read coordinates using a GPS and how to log their finds at the popular website: geocaching.com. Experienced GeoCachers welcomed! This class will run for 2 class periods to allow time for travel, please select this class for period 1 and period 2. This class is limited to the first 9 students.

Entomologists and explore the world of insects! It will be a time to research and observe a variety of insects and their life cycles. Entomologists will work together to create “bug hotels” to provide a safe environment for creatures to live.
Minderobics (Grades K-2): Students will have the opportunity to be strategic, tactical and competitive while playing all types of games including: Yahtzee, Dominoes, Monopoly, Crazy Eights, Cribbage and many others. We will also be making up our own games to play.
Introduction to Sign Language (Grades K-5): Have you ever wondered what it would be like to communicate in sign language? In this class, students will work together to learn how to communicate in American Sign Language. This class is limited to the first 10 students to register.
Bracelets, Bracelets, Bracelets (Grades 2-5): Welcome to the wide world of bracelets. From string to embroidery floss, glass beads to handmade paper beads, your wrists will never look better! Students will learn braiding and finger weaving (or finger crocheting) to make various bracelet designs. Give them as gifts or keep them for yourself!

Trash into Treasure (Grades K-2): Students will learn of ways to turn "trash" into treasures as they create arts and crafts using recycled and repurposed materials. This class is limited to the first 15 students to register.
Bears, Eagles, and Frogs OHHH MY...(Grades K-2): Habitats, life cycles, and adventures await us as we explore these amazing creatures native to Wisconsin. We will do this through science, math and reading activities. Each of these animals have phenomenal creature powers that help them adapt and live in our neck of the woods. Come explore with me!
Computer Fun! (Grades K-5): In this class students will explore a variety of fun, educational games on the computer that will help boost their math, reading, and logical reasoning skills.
Yard Games (Grades 2-5): Students will participate in a variety of activities from relay races to bean bag toss to hula hooping. It will be a fun opportunity to learn the ins and outs of popular yard games and get a chance to try them….horseshoes, bean bag toss, relay races, frisbee golf, etc.
STEAM Camp (Grades 3-5): Students will have the opportunity to explore and participate in hands-on activities focusing on science, technology, engineering, art and math. Sure to be a good time!
Origami (Grades 3-5): Get creative with ORIGAMI- the art of Japanese paper folding! You’ll learn to fold special colorful paper into many fun things like fortune tellers, jumping frogs, a string of paper cranes, ninja stars, treasure boxes, animals, bookmarks, and so many more! You’ll love the paper airplane and frog jumping contests- complete with prizes! You will receive the illustrated instructions and extra paper in a special pouch to continue folding at home.
Lego Robotics (Grades 3-5): Attention: we are looking for students who love to build with Legos and are interested in computer programming. Students in this class will have the opportunity to build a variety of Lego vehicles and then will program the vehicles to move. A fun class to be in for sure!
Make It and Take It (Grades 3-5): In this class, students will create projects using different materials and devices, such as a Cricut. They will make cards, print stickers, and more! This class will be visiting a design shop to learn about the process of printing items like t-shirts. Join this class to let your creativity flow!
